Originally from Zaporizhzhia, he has been involved in supporting Ukrainian defenders since 2014. His work spans humanitarian aid, frontline logistics, public advocacy, cultural diplomacy, and international awareness-building around Russia’s war against Ukraine and the urgent need for continued global support.
Vsevolod Myrnyi is a co-founder of Brighter Ukraine Foundation, Rebirth.Ukraine, and other initiatives that have worked on humanitarian and military aid delivery, public campaigns, creative actions, and cultural projects. In the United States, his work includes organizing rallies, performances, art installations, advocacy meetings, and public actions designed to keep Ukraine visible in public discourse and to draw attention to Russian war crimes, occupied territories, frontline realities, and the strategic importance of sustained support for Ukraine. He has participated in advocacy meetings and policy discussions with representatives of the U.S. Congress and has spoken at international events focused on security, military technology, and Ukraine’s battlefield-driven innovation.
His advocacy and public initiatives have been covered by major outlets and platforms including The New York Times, Voice of America, The Kyiv Independent, UNITED24, and other international and community media. Alongside political and humanitarian advocacy, Vsevolod Myrnyi also develops cultural initiatives connected to the identity and visibility of Zaporizhzhia. These include ideas in cultural diplomacy, public symbolism, gastronomy, music, and creative international formats intended to strengthen recognition of the city through association, memory, and positive visibility.
Among these concepts are projects related to promoting Zaporizhzhia through cultural and gastronomic diplomacy, including the idea of introducing “Zaporizhzhia Cake” or “Zaporizhzhia Inii” as a non-commercial cultural format, as well as creative initiatives such as the Zaporizhzhia March, combining visual identity, music, and public performance. Other ideas include international community-driven formats and informal cultural networks that help build long-term awareness of Zaporizhzhia as a city of resilience, culture, history, and meaning.
Vsevolod Myrnyi’s work brings together advocacy, volunteer service, humanitarian coordination, public engagement, and cultural strategy with the goal of supporting Ukraine and building stronger international understanding of its people, regions, and future.
Co-organized 200+ rallies, performances and public events in NYC, Washington DC and nationwide, raising awareness about Russia’s war crimes in
